Hi, I’m Megan, your branded content BFF.
What does that mean, exactly?
I get VERY excited about storytelling and helping shape brand narratives, and I want to hype you up until you’re just as excited as I am! I will hold your hand, tell you the truth with compassion and directness, and genuinely care about what drives you or your brand.
When we work together, I want you to feel that you can confide your darkest, thorniest content problems and trust that I will help untangle them with enthusiasm and care.
OK, but let’s get profesh for a sec.
I’m a content strategist, writer, and editor with 15 years of experience in journalism and content marketing.
I specialize in B2C content for considered purchase brands, writing and editing essays and lifestyle journalism, and personal branding.
While I have deep and diverse editorial experience, I’m focused on the above because I’m especially passionate about helping others tell their stories.
So whether that means crafting the brand narrative for your small design business, helping place a personal essay about the time you lost a bet and showed up at prom dressed as a cheeseburger, or figuring out an approach to LinkedIn that doesn’t make you roll your eyes, I’m here for you.
If you want to get technical about it, here are some stats:
I have an MA in Journalism
I’m certified by HubSpot Academy in Content Marketing
I have a Strategic Storytelling Certificate from eCornell
I’ve assigned and edited thousands of stories in my career
I’ve written and edited multiple award-winning stories & packages
My digital content strategies have increased organic website traffic by >500%
Behind the scenes
I live in Los Angeles with my husband, our toddler son and our rescue dog, Arthur. Together we have created Air Hares, a video game and graphic novel about an intrepid bunny pilot, Captain Rabbo, and her crew.
I spend my free time writing, watching baseball and British crime dramas, traveling to visit family, playing Ninja Turtles with my son, and finding ways to add more cheese to recipes. (It's basically just, add more cheese.)
